Dr. Kyunglim Chae is a graduate of New York University's BA/DDS 7-year joint program. During this time, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and graduated as a Presidential Honors Scholar with Honors in Biology. Dr. Chae then studied at New York University College of Dentistry to pursue her dreams of becoming a dentist and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.

Dr. Chae works towards creating a better healthcare environment in Houston, TX. She believes in explaining to her patients about their dental conditions and helping them practice oral hygiene. Dr. Benjamin Golik attended the University of Missouri in three years and graduated Magna cum Laude with his Bachelor of Science degree. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, also with honors. Dr. Golik later attended residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where he expanded his cosmetic dental and advanced medical training.

Dr. Golik is a certified Invisalign®® provider and specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry. His current patient base even ranges from professional athletes, media stars, to members of team NASA. He is compassionate, dedicated, and focused.

Dr. Golik’s passion and support for the Arts is reflected in his dental practice where a local pop-up art gallery is dedicated to the work of neighborhood artists.

Manager

Maria is our amazing front desk. She is the first smile that you will see when entering our office! With her 10+ years of experience in the dental field, she will be able to help you with everything from scheduling your appointment to all your billing questions.

She enjoys spending time with her very cool son, Anthony a.k.a. Spiderman Jr., and her awesome husband, Nicolas. On her off days, she is a part-time photographer and even serves as the lead photographer for her church.

Her favorite hobby is dancing. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch her doing her fabulous Zumba moves down the URBN Dental hallway!

Julia is the manager at URBN Dental - Uptown. If you’re ever wondering, “How does URBN Dental run so smoothly?!”, it is because of her! She moved to Houston 6 years ago from Washington, where the air smells like pine trees. She loves being able to provide a positive environment for both her staff and patients. At URBN Dental, experience dentistry differently through our excellent patient care and service!

Julia’s hard work does not stop at the office. She recently obtained her Master’s in Healthcare Management. On her leisure time (whenever that is), she enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, and capturing the moment & scenery. Honestly, her husband and her look like they belong on the cover of a romantic novel, a beautiful couple inside & out.

LEAD HYGIENIST

Angela is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin (HOOK ‘EM). She returned to Houston to purse her dental hygiene degree. She graduated from her dental hygiene program with high honors and earned multiple awards, including Outstanding Professional Leadership and Most Outstanding Student. Angela is the Lead Dental Hygienist at URBN Dental. URBN Dental focuses on teamwork between the dental professionals and the patients. This core value allows Angela time to connect with her patients and educate them about their dental health.

When she is not at the office, Angela should probably take a nap but doesn’t. Angela and her fiancé like to stay active. She scuba dives, hikes, teaches a fitness class, and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Angela would like to note that she sounds a lot cooler than she actually is.

Sabina thoroughly loves her position here at URBN Dental Midtown and is very proud to care for patients in the back of the office and help with the front desk too. She is a Houston native that is married to a wonderful husband and have 4 darling kids, whom she adores. In her spare time, you can catch her playing soccer or taking road trips with her family. She loves the outdoors and scenery, she said there is something about being on the road and admiring the things you see while driving from state to state.

She has been in the dental field for quite some time now and plans to be in it for a very long time as dentistry is her passion.

Gabriella is a local Austin native that moved to Houston to pursue her dreams and further her career in dentistry. She has been in the field for quite some time and loves being a dental assistant, engaging with patients, and making them feel comfortable.

She has a passion for learning and reading. When she is not working you can catch her spending time with her boyfriend traveling back home to Austin and playing with her two dogs. She also loves to play and teach piano in her spare time. Teaching piano helps relax her. With her vast knowledge and love for dentistry she plans on being in the field for a very long time.
