The primary benefit of Delta PPO dental insurance plans is that dentists are required to sign a contract that locks in affordable dental services for patients. These services are provided at a discounted rate that helps people save money on their dental care. Other benefits of Delta Dental PPO include:

• Direct billing: URBN Dental will directly bill Delta Dental for your dental services during your visit.  
• No upfront payments: You are not required to pay an upfront fee for dental care unless your specific Delta Dental PPO plan has a co-pay. 
• No extra costs for covered services: Since our Houston dental offices have signed a contract with Delta Dental, you are not charged the difference between our regular fees and the amount we’ve agreed to charge patients for using Delta Dental PPO insurance. 
• Reimbursements come directly to us: You do not have to worry about signing reimbursement checks over to us, as all payments for your covered dental services come directly to us. 
• Preventative services are 100% covered: Bi-annual cleanings, X-rays, and other preventative care are covered 100% by Delta Dental.
• No waiting period: Unlike other dental insurance plans, Delta Dental PPO coverage does not have a waiting period. Your benefits are effective the day your coverage begins. 
• Flexibility: You have the flexibility to visit any dentist you want but get the most savings when you see an in-network dentist. You can even switch from another PPO dentist to one of our dentists at URBN Dental without any change in your benefits. 
• Partial coverage for dental implants and dentures: Certain Delta Dental PPO plans offer partial coverage for dental implants and dentures when deemed medically necessary. Generally, they can cover 50% of the total cost. 
• Partial coverage for basic services: Fillings, wisdom tooth extractions, and other basic dental services can range from 50% to 80% coverage, depending on your Delta Dental PPO plan. 
• Partial coverage for major services: Root canals, crowns, and other medically necessary dental services on certain Delta Dental PPO plans offer 50% reimbursement. 
• Teeth whitening: Certain Delta Dental PPO plans may cover 80% of teeth whitening costs.
